   主要内容：

We consider some mathematical models inone-dimensional advective environments. Individuals are exposed tounidirectional flow, with the possibility of being lost through the boundary.Our analysis suggests that, in contrast to the case of no advection, slowdispersal is generally selected against in advective environments. When thediffusion and advection rates are small and comparable,we determine somecriterion for the existence and multiplicity of evolutionarily stablestrategies. We also study whether that these strategies are convergent stable.

 

个人简介：

楼元，中国人民大学数学科学研究院院长, 美国俄亥俄州立大学数学教授，国家“国家专家”特聘专家。1988年获得北京大学学士学位，1991年获得北京大学理学硕士学位，1995年毕业于University of Minnesota并获博士学位。1995年-1998年在Berkeley以及Univof Chicago从事博士后研究等工作，1998年至今任教于OhioState University。研究方向为偏微分方程、生物数学，在《Comm Pure Appl Math》，《SIAM J Math Anal》，《J Theoret Biol》等国际顶尖杂志上发表学术论文70余篇并被同行引用多次。他的研究工作获得多项科学基金资助并应邀在多次重要国际会议做大会报告。自2009年起担任《Discrete Cont. Dynamical System-B》主编，并为《SIAM J Appl Math》、《J Differential Equations》等四种国际著名学术期刊编委。
